Obviously, every day is Book Lovers Day for me personally, but here are some extra suggestions to celebrate books on the official holiday, August 9th.

You can visit your local independent bookstore and browse for a new book. You can post a recommended new release or an all-time favorite book on your social media. (Like I said, it’s always book lovers day for me.) Start a new read from your TBR, or if you somehow don’t have a TBR, you can visit your library to check out a new book. Take an audiobook with you on your commute. There’s a Book Lovers Day Little Free Library dropoff, too.  Or just read instead of answering work email or doing any chores. I mean, it’s a holiday, right?
